Project Overview
Life experience often shapes how we perceive the world, and how we navigate the challenges we face. More often than not, we’re never truly alone in our struggles.
You Live & You Learn is a campaign that celebrates the intergenerational exchange of wisdom and experiences, offering valuable lessons that resonate across generations. The final deliverables included, a mix of merchandise design, a dedicated website, and engaging social media content. This project aims to foster a deeper connection between individuals and their communities through shared stories and advice.
This project was completed as part of my year-long thesis study at SUNY New Paltz. I conducted individual research and gathered anonymous quotes and stories that contributed to the content of this project.

Visual System
I wanted the branding to appeal to a younger audience, who could benefit most from the advice of others. To capture this energy, I used a vibrant palette of bright colors, trendy typography, and illustrative techniques that reflect the project's spirit and message.
Website Design
I carefully designed a website for the project to showcase all the content I collected and provide access to the assets I created to further promote the campaign.
Campaign Assets
Additionally, I designed and created mockups for some branded merchandise. I opted to make merch because I think it's a fun way to get peoples attention and have them to engage with a project. My primary goal was to ensure that the designs aligned with visual identity i'd created while effectively communicating the core messages of the project.
These campaign assets include clothing design such as sweatshirts, t-shirts, tote bags, hats, stickers, etc. As well as social media assets that were used for an Instagram page I created for the project.
Fun fact: I was actually able to create some merch irl thanks to the amazing cricut! (see video below)
